Morikami Gardens and Loggerhead Marinelife Center of Juno - August 2009

We discoverd the Mounts Botanical Gardes. Unortunatley is was hot and Chris had to use crutches for his sprained ankle so we didn't stay too long. Here are some picutres of what we saw.

This is a bananna spider - they are dangerous!

I love the bamboo!

This plant reminded us of celery stalks!

This poor guy had to have a flipper amputated and is rehabilitating.

All the little babies....

One more guy! They are sooo cute! They hatched on Jupiter / Juno Beach and were brought to the sanctuary to grow until they can get released.
